About

Each session will involve four presenters, one of which will serve as the moderator. Each presenter will prepare two cases (8 cases total) related to their session title (forefoot/midfoot, rearfoot/ankle, or revisions/complications) to present to the other panel members and attendees of the virtual symposium. Cases should involve 3 components for discussion, and the presenter will stop after each component to allow discussion/debate/questions from other panel members and the symposium attendees

1. A brief history, preoperative photos and/or imaging, and pertinent labs or other information.

2 .Intraoperative imaging focusing on the procedure(s) performed, surgical technique, pearls/pitfalls, and final imaging.

3 .The patient’s postoperative course (weightbearing status, splint/cast/boot, PT protocol, etc.) subjective/objective measures of how patient is doing in postoperative follow-up, and review of postoperative photos and/or imaging.

The moderator of each session has the responsibility of driving the discussion, fostering debate and alternate points of view, as well as ensuring that each two-hour session is filled (to ensure CME credibility).
